With its sensitive optical slave trigger (as well as a test button; see picture below) you fire this strobe automatically and without wires or connections of any kind - simply from the flash of your camera's built-in flash!

The "Test" button allows you to fire the strobe to assure that it's working properly, or to take a flash meter reading.

The "Ready Light" tells you when it's charged up and ready to be fired.

The Optical Slave Sensor will fire the strobe automatically as soon as you fire your camera's built-i or dedicated flash (which means that any other flash, even your camera's little built-in flash, can automatically fire this unit by it's light alone, so there's never a need to use a sync (PC) cord or any other connection.

The ball and socket joint will let you twist, turn, and angle the flash in an almost infinite number of ways, so you can get the coverage you need anywhere!
